Terms and Conditions
THE LEARNING AGREEMENT
Students should be a minimum of 18 years of age with a good understanding of written and spoken English. Students can select to complete the course within six months or one year.
It normally takes just a few days from us acknowledging receipt of your enrolment and payment for us to send email courses. Please allow up to 14 days for course notes to be posted on CD or in printed workbooks as these are made to order. These are normally sent out by first class mail in the UK or by standard airmail post overseas. If you would like a special courier delivery you need to organise collection from the school yourself.
In line with our green policy, homework should be emailed to us although you can also mail us your coursework. The student is responsible for keeping copies of their homework and the school cannot be held responsible for any loss of coursework sent by email or post.
TRANSFERS AND REFUNDS
We operate a transfer / credit system and refunds are made entirely at the discretion of the school by arrangement.
You have 14 days to check your course and after that time we presume that you are happy to undertake your studies. During this period you may change to another course of equal value but you will be asked to pay for any difference in fees and extra administrative costs ( and p&p if applicable).
We regret that as we have to protect the copyright and growing piracy of course material, email and CD courses cannot be returned. Refunds are made entirely at the discretion of the school and only within the 14 day period. If a refund is agreed an administration charge of £35 will be made to cover admin and bank charges. In addition a £25 charge will be made per workbook returned to cover the printing, postage and packing. A Voucher will be issued for this sum which can be used against any course studied in the future.
PAYMENTS AND DURATION OF THE COURSE
The agreement allows a student to choose between a one year programme or fast track to six months. Our fees are held for one year from the time of enrollment and students are requested to submit homework for any of the four marking submission dates Coursework send in after one year will incur an added charge of £25.00 per year in line with increases in tutoring fees.
If you live in the UK or Northern Ireland and elect to pay for your course by cheque or postal order in two halves ( this applies to postal payments only ), fees for part two will remain the same as your initial payment if you complete the course within one year. If you send in your second payment after that time you will be charged at the current rate.
