As all our courses give a vocational qualification you may be able to get a Government or EU Social fund grant to study with us depending on your personal circumstances. Government funding has been extended to all regions in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland in 2010. There are a number of grants and funding options available if you live in the UK for Career Development and vocational training courses that our school offers.
Depending on your personal circumstances you may be able to get a grant or loan from a Job Centre, Education Authority, Charity, Bank, Government or EU Social Funding especially if you live in the NW of England, Wales or Scotland.
The government schemes available include, NEW START, WANT 2 WORK and WELFARE TO WORK grants are available from many Job centres and Education Authorities. Anyone who is long term unemployed or has been on a jobseekers allowance for more than six months should contact their local Job Centre Plus. You may also be able to get help from Social Services if you have a special health or social need.
We recommend that you contact your local Citizens Advice centre or approach your Job Centre or Education Authority to find out what funding is available in your area. They should be able to contact the local Chamber of Commerce and Department of Work and Pensions to find out what funding options are available. There are also a number of Business Enterprise schemes around the country.
If you are employed your employer may sponsor your studies for professional development or you may find a charity that will do the same if you work for them. If you are self-employed you should be able to deduct the course fees from your tax.
